It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elba Ortiz, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who peacefully passed away on March 16, 2025. As a devoted matriarch, Elba was a cornerstone of our family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will last for generations.
She was a woman who dedicated her life to her family, always putting the needs of her loved ones above her own. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth and joy, where family nights were cherished traditions. Whether it was a lively game of bingo or poker, she had a way of making every moment together special. Her love for her family was evident in every card dealt and every number called.
Elba found peace in the quiet moments spent by the water, but her greatest joy came from sharing these moments with her family. Whether it was teaching her grandchildren how to cast a line or enjoying a calm day by the lake, these times spent together will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Her love, wisdom, and strength shaped the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a family who will always treasure the memories of her kind heart, warm hugs, and endless love. She is survived by Madeline, William, Elba, Adriana, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025 at 10am at Keefe Funeral Home where family and friends will gather to honor her memory.
Elba will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
